Marion BURKLE's sculptures are a successful mixture of a very modern trend but not without lyrical elegance.

The powerful sensual presence of the work is an example of the artist's approach to her favourite subject of the : «eternal woman»

The bodies, particularly that of «the dancer», are moderately stylised in geometric units, in curved tubular shapes which move around the torso.

Marion BURKLE's works are an obvious appeal to the sense of touch an equilibrium of sinuous shapes and pear-shaped breasts and elasticity which defies the law of gravity.

All women in one via the combination of the deliberately indeterminate head and arms.

Her works offer as many points of view as there are points in the surrounding space, an escape to the frontiers of an astonishing and voluptuous femininity.

Through her inspiration, Marion BURKLE gives life . Eve is reborn !

The path of creativity goes from dream to reality, and Marion BURKLE has identified this path better than any other.

Using bronze, precious metals and sometimes resin, this representational artist expresses herself with joy in monumental works as well as in jewellery.

«The Woman» is the source of inspiration for this artist.

Using womankind’s gracefulness and curves, she highlights her shape, sometimes rounded, sometimes lean but always with the same concern for aesthetics and rigour.

Her major work «The Dancer» will enter the tight circle of essential works that mark the end of this century. The elegant and graceful creation animates movement and gesture, witness to a special talent through which the artist guides us to the highest level without ever compromising her demand for beauty.

Her sculptures could be called «the art of exalting the female body», since Marion BURKLE mainly sculpts women’s bodies

Bronzes of refined volumes, stylised, but of infinite and imperceptible sensuality. This extreme femininity can also be found in a range of jewels where the precious metal merges with semiprecious stones in a similar burst of creativity.

Blonde, slender and almost fragile, Marion BURKLE works one of the hardest materials to give life to, namely bronze. Today, she offers us a collection that reflects the joy of being a woman.

Although the theme may lead us to think otherwise, the sculptures of Marion BURKLE are never frivolous.

The fiery material must be mastered and the bronze sculptor knows that she/he aims to provide eternity to her/his works. There is little chance of bronze being destroyed. Therefore, what the hand of the sculptor creates will, no doubt, leave an indelible mark and cannot be treated casually. This is why Marion BURKLE sculpts with force and determination.

Self-taught, Marion BURKLE can now measure herself with the greatest, as she works with a rare elegance, and an inner sense of aestheticism and purity.

Her favourite theme remains «the woman», ethereal and moving, eternal and disturbing. Voluptuous bodies that show only the essential, that is «femininity»

Faceless bodies that trigger the imagination. Who are they? Where do they come from?

One thing is certain, they are smooth and alive. Despite the bronze material that defines them, they are warm and call for caresses. But if you rich out, they shy away and twist in lascivious and sensual poses. Provocative, but never vulgar, Marion’s women are soft and moving, somewhat like her.

Of German origin, but settled on the French Riviera, she has recently created a range of jewels and office accessories. She keeps to the same theme and it is always a success. Her sculptures are the basis of her new creations. Adding the sparkle of semiprecious stones to gold or silver, she offers us a remarkable collection.

A refined and original collection which is totally captivating.
